Fine-tune Script Match results by dragging directly on the waveform to include or remove sections, and preview every keep with per-take play/pause. Director also adds optional cloud transcription engines (Deepgram and AssemblyAI) alongside local Whisper for verbatim-accurate cleanup — all in a cleaner, simpler layout.
The installer is now around 11 MB — heavy runtimes and the built-in asset library download from our CDN on first launch. The B-Roll and SFX finders get a sticky search bar, and closing caption gaps now extends the previous caption instead of shifting the next one.
Drag videos, audio, and MOGRTs from the Asset Library straight into your timeline — trimmed In/Out ranges included. Favorites is now a cross-folder view, and a new General settings section covers output folder, update checks, and maintenance.
Sign in to the panel with your PrimCut account, with Free and Pro tool access, a trial countdown, and activation on up to two devices. A new Global Cuts toggle lets silence cuts trim every unlocked track at once. Anonymous usage stats help us improve the tools — with an opt-out in Settings.
Transcription now shows real progress with a stall detector, model downloads resume and retry, and GPU acceleration kicks in when your machine supports it. Silence Cutter gains an experimental Fast Cut mode and closes leftover gaps automatically.
PrimCut Director matches your script against the timeline and applies the keeps, and Podcast Editor switches multicam speakers automatically — both fully local. Background Remover and frame-accurate J-cut/L-cut automation also joined the panel, while AI Highlights and the Curve Editor were retired to keep the toolkit focused.
Offline Whisper captions with styled MOGRT templates, plus a Properties-panel-style Edit tab: live scrubbing, saved style presets, and a proper font picker with favorites.
